The naming ceremony of the HANSEATIC spirit took place off the coast of Helgoland on 24 August 2021. Together with its structurally identically sister ships HANSEATIC inspiration (2019) and HANSEATIC spirit (2019), the small and state-of-the-art expedition ship explores remote destinations and visits the world’s most fascinating natural landscapes on challenging routes.
The new expedition class – which offers space for a maximum of 230 guests (or 199 guests on Antarctic cruises and Spitsbergen circumnavigations) – sets standards in terms of variety, comfort and personal space. On Boxing Day, you will leave Kemi in Finland and head for Rovaniemi* to visit Santa Claus in his official home town. Activities like snowshoe hiking* in the snowy spruce forest or a snowmobile safari* through Finnish Lapland are a gift for nature lovers.
