Maynard's emotional tribute to friend after win
By Chris De Silva
Brayden Maynard, who is sporting a black armband, reveals that he's had a close friend pass away in recent weeks.
The Collingwood defender, who played in his 200th match today, fighting tears as he pays tribute.
"It means everything. I absolutely love this club, I love these boys," he tells Fox Footy.
"I'm getting a little bit emotional because it's been a big couple of weeks for me.
"I've had a good mate of mine pass away to mental health issues, so Deb, Amy and Bomber, if you're watching this, my heart goes out to you and all your family, and much love from the Collingwood family and the whole AFL community.

"It's more than a game, it's more than just 200 games for the black and white, I do this for my family, for my friends and the whole Collingwood supporter base."
Like Daicos, Maynard too has no words on what a comeback that was.
"My God, really lost for words," he says.
"It probably wasn't our day ... to be able to fight back in Collingwood style, super proud of the boys.
"That is a team performance and a team-first mentality, a willingness to compete and fight till the end. Holy crap, such a good win."
Daicos on 'special' Collingwood comeback win
By Chris De Silva
Collingwood star Nick Daicos had his fingerprints all over that comeback in the final quarter.
Daicos finishes with 29 touches, 10 score involvements and six clearances to go along with two second-half goals.
"Oh, amazing," he tells Fox Footy.
"Credit to North Melbourne. Fly said consistently all week how even the competition is.
"We knew they were going to come out strong and unfortunately we didn't handle it well in the first half.
"I think that shows a lot to come back from 48 points down at half-time.
"We don't want to put ourselves in that position, but that's pretty special.
"Half-time we spoke about Bruzzy (Maynard) again and how much he means to this football club."

3QT: Magpies threatening huge comeback
By Chris De Silva
The siren sounds to end the third quarter, and this match is a lot more delicately poised than the scoreboard suggests.
North Melbourne holds a 31-point lead at the final change, but Collingwood is within striking distance, and that's all the Magpies wanted.
It's been a big switch in momentum after the Kangaroos got out to a game-high 54-point lead earlier in the third quarter.
Nick Daicos, after a quiet half, has gotten himself into the game, which spells trouble for the Kangaroos.
The commentators have noted that a lot of Collingwood's runs have come with George Wardlaw (26 touches, six clearances) off the ground.
Alastair Clarkson will want to play the young gun for the majority of the final term you'd think.
