Tom Pidco*ck suffers puncture during cross-country
Defending cross-country cycling champion Tom Pidco*ck has slipped back nine places after suffering a puncture.
The Team GB cyclist was battling Frenchman Victor Koretzky but was forced to change his front wheel in the pit area.
He has dropped nine places and 36 seconds down the field.

Team GB beat South Africa in rugby sevens
Team GB's women have come from behind to beat South Africa 26-7 in the rugby sevens.
They trailed 12-7 but rallied brilliantly to secure their second win in three pool games.
That could be enough for a place in the quarter-finals if Ireland don't secure a big win over Australia.
Djokovic cruises to first set v Nadal
Novak Djokovic has taken the first set 6-1 against Rafael Nadal.
The Serbian, who has won everything bar an Olympic medal during his trophy-laden career, broke Nadal twice to take a 5-0 lead in the set.
Nadal, himself an Olympic champion in 2008, has been nursing a thigh injury at Roland Garros, and it was clear from the off that he wasn't moving at his best on Court Philippe Chatrier.
Djokovic had two chances to seal the first set and took it when Nadal skewed a forehand well wide.
'Never say never with Tom': Daley's husband on whether diver will compete again
Tom Daley's husband has said fans of the five-time Olympic medal-winning diver should not give up hope of seeing him compete again.
Asked whether the 30-year-old will retire after Paris, Dustin Lance Black said: "I think this might be it, but that's about as sure as I can be."
However, he said you can "never say never with Tom".
"I could never get the words out of his mouth after Tokyo that he wanted to retire so I was very suspicious the whole time," he told Sky News.
Daley decided to throw his hat back into the ring about 16 months ago.
Describing the moment that changed it all, Lance Black said the diver had seen a "beautiful film" at the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum about the spirit of the Olympian.
"Robbie was in his arms and Tom started shedding tears, which I never see of Tom," he said.
"And I said 'oh crap, we're going to another Olympics, aren't we?' and he said 'we're going to Paris'."
The director said he had seen his husband "train so hard every morning" and "when he qualified it already felt like he'd already won the Olympics in our family".
"It probably seems a bit unfair to some that he's able to throw his hat back into the ring with 16 months to go and to not only qualify but to medal and to give the Chinese a run for their money again," he said.
Men's mountain biking race kicks off - with GB's Pidco*ck the defending champion
The men's mountain bike race is on now - and Team GB's hopes are high with defending champion Tom Pidco*ck.
The 24-year-old won gold three years ago, marking the first Olympic medal for Team GB in the sport.
Also competing for Great Britain is Charlie Aldridge, who is making his Olympic debut.
Team GB move up to seventh in medal table
Team GB have broken the top 10 of the medal table at Paris 2024 following today's gold in team eventing.
Tom McEwen, Ros Carter and Laura Collett took home Britain's first gold of the Olympics at Versailles, retaining the gold they won in the same event in Tokyo.
Along with the silver medal won by Tom Daley and Noah Williams in the 10m synchronised diving, it means Team GB are now seventh in the medal table.

Tennis: Djokovic v Nadal
Two of the biggest tennis stars in the world are currently facing off at Roland Garros.
Novak Djokovic is serving first on Court Philippe Chatrier against 14-time French Open winner Rafael Nadal.
Djokovic is currently ranked world number two - but his old foe Nadal is famously a master of the clay courts.
It could potentially be the final time the all-time greats clash due to doubts over how long 38-year-old Nadal's career will last.
Collett and McEwen react to team eventing gold
Gold medal-winning eventer Laura Collett, speaking to the BBC:
"I am on top of the world, I have never ridden in an atmosphere like that. Thankfully I have a trusty horse in London 52 and teammates as well. Thankfully we brought it home."
Gold medal-winning eventer Tom McEwen, speaking to the BBC:
"It was a class last round from Laura to get the gold, the first of the Games. It has been a rollercoaster but we rose to the occasion."
