Buckeyes quarterback C.J. Stroud is 17-for-27 for 271 yards, five touchdowns and one pick. He just threw to Emeka Egbuka on a 32-yard TD pass, which is Egbuka's second score of the night.

A good game for Keon Keeley and other recruits to watch

Being a night game, Ohio State welcomed in a number of recruits tonight, including five-star edge rusher out of Berkeley Prep, Keon Keeley. This is probably an excellent game for him to watch. OSU is dominating. The defense, especially Tommy Eichenberg (14 tackles, two tackles for loss) is doing well. However, with only three tackles for loss as a team, Keeley probably sees an element he can add.

Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud found Emeka Egbuka running an in-route with a pinpoint pass between two Badgers defenders. It was an 8-yard touchdown.

Although Stroud has four TD passes tonight, OSU has gotten a lot out of its running game with two 100-plus yard rushers.

  • TreVeyon Henderson: 107 yards
  • Miyan Williams: 101 yards

OSU's Julian Fleming adds a touchdown catch, score: Ohio State 38, Wisconsin 7

Ohio State receiver Julian Fleming collided with four Badgers defenders at the goal line, but still banged it in at the end of 12-yard pass play to extend OSU's lead. Ohio State's C.J. Stroud throws an interception, Wisconsin's Clay Cundiff carted off

Wisconsin recorded their eighth interception of the year as Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud threw his first pick of the season. John Torchio came away with the ball.

On the ensuing play, Badgers tight end Clay Cundiff went up for a catch and was hit in the legs by OSU's Tanner McCalister. In obvious, writhing pain, the cart quickly came out for Cundiff.

Noah Ruggles adds to OSU lead, score: Ohio State 31, Wisconsin 7

For the first time tonight, an Ohio State drive does not end in a touchdown. After 13 plays in which the Buckeyes traveled 68 yards, OSU had to settle for a Noah Ruggles' 25-yard field goal. OSU chewed up 6:11 of clock on the drive, and so despite the quick touchdowns they have scored tonight, they also lead time of possession 16:24 to 11:16.

An injury note: OSU linebacker Palaie Gaoteote has been taken to the team's locker room.

Badgers get on the board, score: Ohio State 28, Wisconsin 7

Graham Mertz dove straight ahead behind a wall of Badgers blockers for a Wisconsin one-yard touchdown. The big play on that drive was a 26-yard pass on third down and 9 from Mertz to Skyler Bell.

OSU's Miyan Williams finds the end zone for a second time, score: Ohio State 28, Wisconsin 0

Running back Miyan Williams kept Ohio State's most recent drive alive with a spinning 21-yard run on third down and 3. That would set up his own touchdown on the next play, a 4-yard score during which he went into the end zone untouched.

Tight end Cade Stover scores again for the Buckeyes, score: Ohio State 21, Wisconsin 0

Cade Stover engaged two Wisconsin defenders at the line, shed that block and floated into the end zone, where C.J. Stroud, who was rolling right, found him wide, wide open.

Stroud is already 8-for-8 passing for two touchdowns and 126 yards.

Cade Stover gets his first collegiate touchdown, score: Ohio State 14, Wisconsin 0

Ohio State scored on a misdirection play, sending almost all the action left and tight end Cade Stover out right. He was able to avoid a tackle by diving end-over-end into the end zone to give OSU a very quick two-touchdown lead.

Tanner McCalister gives Ohio State's defense its third takeaway of the year

Graham Mertz's pass was way offline, and Ohio State's Tanner McCalister took advantage with an interception he returned to the Wisconsin 16, giving the Buckeyes' offense a very short field to work with.

Chunk plays, Miyan Williams put OSU football up, score: Ohio State 7, Wisconsin 0

Miyan Williams capped Ohio State's opening drive with a gritty, never-give-up run, 2-yard touchdown run. But that was an uncharacteristic play for OSU's opening drive. The Buckeyes, taking advantage of a banged-up Badgers' defensive backfield, is averaging 14.7 yards per play and scored in just 2:41.

“We continue to recruit, hire and train operators and hope to boost evening service in the future,” COTA spokesperson Jeff Pullin said. “But coming out of a global pandemic, like every industry, this will take time.”

Ohio State CB Denzel Burke takes field with cast on hand

With Jordan Hanco*ck and Cameron Brown out against the Badgers, Ohio State is already down to four scholarship cornerbacks ahead of its matchup with Wisconsin.
